AEDs and what YOU need to know

The AED HAS to be NEARBY each field ... but it is NOT the Umpire's responsibility to ask about it during pregame. Please do NOT ask about it--it is the HOME TEAM'S responsibility.


In short, as per NYSSO: "1. The HOME SCHOOL is to be responsible for providing AED-trained personnel and a sufficient number of AED's at all interscholastic contests such that an AED can be effectively administered within less than 3 minutes to a stricken student-athlete."
